Week Commencing: Monday 28th September 2020
This weeks learning includes one lesson on Romeo & Juliet Act 1 and two lessons focusing on Language Paper 2 skills (one lesson has been lost to PSHCE this week).
1. Use the PowerPoint 'R&J Act 1 Cont.' to explore Scene 2-5. The main focus in on how love is presented in A1S5. All the extracts you need are on the PowerPoint.
2. Use slides 1-5 of the 'P2 Music Performances' PowerPoint to explore the review of a Kendrick Lamar performance. You will also need the article which can be found below.
3. Use slides 6-7 of the 'P2 Music Performances' PowerPoint to plan and write your own article reviewing a performance (music gig, sports match or even a film).

2. Create a plan for the essay "How is the character of Tybalt presented in the play 'Romeo & Juliet'? using slides 1-6 of the Tybalt Consequences PowerPoint.
3. Use slides 7-10 of the Tybalt Consequences PowerPoint to help you write your essay response.
4. Annotate the speech from Obama about climate change on slide 3 of the PowerPoint 'Obama Climate Change' before writing your own speech to answer the question on slide 4.

4. Use the PowerPoint 'Developing Narratives'. Select one of the options to write a narrative from slide 8. Remember to only give yourself 45 minutes.
You should also complete the review sheet and bring it with you on your first day back.

1. Use the PowerPoint 'MW Exam Question' to answer the question 'How are the effects of war presented in the poem 'Mametz Wood'. There is an example opening to the answer on slide 4.
2. Use the PowerPoint 'Poetry Comparison MW TM' to compare the poems 'The Manhunt' with 'Mametz Wood'. There is an example opening and structure to use in the rest of the answer on slides 4 & 5.
3.
